Specializing in residential design and construction, Elizabeth's youthful and energetic approach to her projects has resulted in award winning kitchen and bath designs, including nine "Best of Houzz" Design Awards and Customer Service Awards, from Houzz.com, and a regional Kitchen Remodeling award through the National Kitchen and Bath Association. From first time homeowners to high-profile clientele, Elizabeth strives to exceed customer expectations, no matter the size of the project or the cost of the job.
Elizabeth has an extensive background in the remodeling industry, as the lead designer for a highly regarded Design-Build firm, she achieved numerous certifications from national remodeling associations. Having graduated with a masters degree in real estate and construction management from the University of Denver, she applies her construction knowledge to her designs, resulting in completed projects that are not only inspiring and impactful, but practicable and obtainable. Elizabeth's graduate degree also gives her the ability to analyze current real estate trends and resale value, educating her clients on how to efficiently capitalize on their real estate investment.
To better service her clients and their projects, she has attained the "Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer" certification and was recently awarded the "Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer" certification from the National Kitchen and Bath Associations (NKBA). She also holds two specialty badges from the NKBA, designating her as a "Floorplan and Specification Specialist" and "Remodeling Specialist". Elizabeth is also a "Certified Living in Place Professional " through the Living-In-Place Institute. She is able to assist the aging population, and homeowners with physical disabilities in designing and modifying their homes to be accessible, comfortable and safe for many years to come. In addition to her design business, Elizabeth holds her brokers license in the state of Colorado, with Roost Realty LLC. She has chosen this opportunity to fulfill her philanthropic passion to help the community within which they work. When a transaction closes, 5% of her commission is donated to any 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of the buyers & sellers choice.
In addition to working with clients, Elizabeth was hired as an Adjunct Instructor for the Heritage School of Interior Design to teach construction management to aspiring designers. She saw a need in the interior design industry for interior designers to be more educated in the construction side of design, and built a six week curriculum specifically for designers. She also teaches remodeling seminars at local showrooms to homeowners interested in learning about the remodel process and how to work with designers and contractors. She lives in Denver with her husband and daughter, Betty. Originally from Seattle, she moved to Denver for graduate school and never left!
